Haven been taking a walk around Singapore for quite awhile. It has been almost 10 years since the last time I took a drive around Singapore. The world is ever-changing, the world is always spinning and our cells replicate every second. Things changed, people changed. Buildings starts to crumble and fall. Why can’t the world stop spinning for and hour or so? Or why can’t we stop growing for even a single second? Why is that everything is ever-changing? Since the world is ever-changing, why can’t things get around one another? Isn’t it natural to get around things? “Keep moving forward”, I saw this advertisement whilst driving pass an unknown road. I placed force on the brakes and stare at it for awhile. Why can’t we be just like the advertisement? Move forward. If things can’t work, why can’t we just move forward?
After having a long day out, I went back home and my 14years old nephew came running over me and asked me about his History Assignment. He asked he, “Why must we understand the principals of history? And why must we study history?” Until then, I realized the meaning of history and its application to life.
